We are a stable company, have a beautiful facility, and indoor showroom (which is uncommon in our industry), a well-organized service department and parts and accessories store. Our service department is better equipped to handle our customers than most in the country. We have been in business for over 40 years.
Well that brings me to the position I need to fill. I am looking for people to join our sales team as recreational vehicle or boat lifestyle consultants. Fortunately, business is good and we need people to help us better meet the needs of our customers.
Perhaps this is a field you have never considered before. Maybe you have even thought that this was the last field you would ever get into, equating it in some way with automobile sales. In reality, it's nothing like that. Here's why: Buying an automobile is a necessity. People have a mindset that they have to have one, they usually know what they want, they have to get it from a car dealership and it's a necessary evil to put up with the unpleasant buying process.
Recreational vehicles and boats are not necessities. There's no pressure on the customer to buy and they're relaxed when they come in. There's a lot more variety in RV's and boats then autos. We spend a lot of time educating customers about what's available, and
find out what their needs, interests, and hobbies are in order to help them pick the perfect unit for their lifestyle needs, and budget.
Customers who come to our facility are usually in a very positive mindset, feeling no pressure to buy. Our sales process is a consultive and educational process, unlike many other sales situations, which are high-pressure processes.

Our company, Stoltzfus RV's and Marine, represents a multitude of recreational vehicle and boat manufacturers. We have an extensive service facility and a complete parts and accessories store. We also have motor home rentals.
It is helpful if you have some knowledge of recreational vehicles and or boats. Sales experience is not a must since we provide training. A typical day would involve talking with customers in person and on the phone, presenting features and benefits of our products, writing sales contracts, scheduling deliveries and having fun. Customer follow up is very important in this position. After you initially meet the customer, it is important to stay in contact with them. There are often many questions that need to be answered due to the many unique advantages of our products. Our top sales consultant even sends Birthday, Christmas, and Anniversary cards as reminders to call him when it's time for another vehicle.
In this position, you will be scheduled to work about 45 hours a week, however there is no limit to the number of hours. Saturdays are required and you will have a scheduled day off during the week. Sundays we are closed for family day.
The average person in this position will make an income in the range of $45,000 per year. Our top sales associates make over $100,000. Quite frankly, if you would be satisfied with less than $50,000 a year you're not what I am looking for. There are no limitations, as results are directly related to effort, and enthusiasm and our salary plus commissions structure rewards high performance production.

11. You should have a strong desire to have control of your future and the ability to write you own paycheck.
